I’m a video professional based in London, Ontario, with a background that combines journalism, marketing, and film. I also write poetry—something that naturally grew from my love of writing and helps me express the things the camera sometimes can’t.
Originally from the Philippines, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Journalism and began my career as a writer for a newspaper in Manila. From there, I worked with various national government agencies as a layout artist and photographer—honing my eye for visuals and detail.
When the pandemic hit, it felt like hitting a brick wall. Like many, I had to start over. I pivoted back into writing—first for a visa consultation agency, then as a creative marketing specialist for an automotive accessories distributor. One of my key achievements during my time with the distributor includes directing and producing a branded Instagram reel, which garnered over 53,000 views and significantly boosted brand engagement. That success sparked a deeper interest in creative marketing, which led me to pursue further studies in the field at Fanshawe College in Canada.
Through the program and my co-op experience, I found a natural progression into content creation and videography, which became the most defining part. I’m self-taught—starting with a discontinued camera I thought would be a regret, but instead became my greatest tool. I’ve since upgraded both my gear and my skills, diving headfirst into shooting, editing, and telling stories through video.
I’m currently working at Fanshawe College as a Marketing Support staff, where I create educational videos, promotional content, documentaries, short films, tutorials, and walkthroughs. Outside of that, I take on freelance video projects—handling everything from pre-production to final cut.
I’m a one-person crew—run-and-gun style. I shoot, I edit, I create. This is my craft. I’m constantly learning, evolving, and pushing my creative limits… and honestly, I don’t want to know where those limits are.
